Welcome to the East Cleveland Neighborhood Center, where we believe in building a stronger community through our diverse programs and services. This is a place where individuals of all ages can find support and resources to thrive.
21st Century Kirk After School Program
Kirk After School Program, as a 2024-2025 21st Century Community Learning Center, offers Academic Enrichment, Civic Engagement, Leadership Development Training, Career Exploration, and Athletics, through captivating lessons, collaborative activities, inspirational guest speakers, fun field trips and family engagement. The program is open to East Cleveland City School District students in grades 6 through 8 and is held at Kirk Middle School, Monday through Thursday from 2:40 pm until 5:30 pm. Transportation home is provided.

ECNC 2024 Winter Break Camp
The ECNC Winter Break Program offers Academic Enrichment, Leadership Development Training, and Athletics, through captivating lessons, collaborative activities, inspirational guest speakers, and fun field trips. The program is open to East Cleveland City School District students and is held at Chambers Community Empowerment Center, December 26, 27, 30, and 31, from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Lunch and snacks are provided daily.
You Matter Academy
You Matter Academy provides social-emotional learning (SEL) and prevention services to East Cleveland, Euclid City Schools, and Bedford schools. It utilizes age and gender-appropriate curriculums to support students in learning effective communication, coping, and drug refusal skills, among other needed and beneficial skills. We are open to requested lessons per various schools’ reported needs, i.e., increased bullying, topics needing addressing, etc.


RESET
As an alternative to suspension program, RESET is a Restorative Practice for Level I, II, and III conduct violations, designed to reteach behavioral expectations through mentoring, reflective activities, and peer support. This program focuses on five core components which are Respect for self, Extended self-identity, Self-knowledge, Expecting greatness, and Taking control of the outcome.
Shaw After School Program
Shaw After School Program offers Academic Enrichment, Civic Engagement, Leadership Development Training, Career Exploration, through captivating lessons, collaborative activities, inspirational guest speakers, and fun field trips. The program is open to high schoolers of the East Cleveland City School District and is held at Shaw High School, Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
